are they?
Born in Ethereum blockchain network, there are 10,000 potatoes, on which 100 of them are rares and 10 are super rares. There are something special about those ones, so be prepared!
Each one of them is unique and combines characteristics from movie characters, anime protagonists and so on. You may find your favorite character here in our potatoes, or even create him (SPOILER ALERT!), who knows...

We truly believe that the early adopters are the core of this kind of project. They are there, since the beginning pushing the project, so if the project succeeds, they should succeed too!
Pricing will start really low at 0.005 ETH and will increase by a small/fair factor each 100 potatoes. This factor will be tuned as the project grows.
Rarity is a strong property in our collection, so you can multiply prices by 1.5x and 2.5x for rares and super rares, respectivelly.

Just as we love (potato) art, we also love coding and technology, that's why we present you the PotatoENGINE™️. Even though it's very useful, this engine is just a small demonstration that we're here to change the game and bring this whole new ecosystem we're proposing to life.
NFT ART GENERATION
The ten thousand arts were algorithmically generated by mixing layers of heads, faces, mouths, accessories and so on.
Each NFT is unique and amazing, thanks to our engine.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERACTION
Our engine deals with the hard work. Posting new arts, retrospectives, unsold arts and dealing with Twitter madness (RTs, replies, and others).
This fact gives #PotatoTeam more time to give true attention to their supporters and work into what matters: the evolution of PopTatoes project.
MAGICAL MINTING
New potatoes will born all the time, you want it or not. There are ten thousand of them and even in a long-term project we don't want to wait for 20 years for the #10000 PopTotatoes, am I right?
This process is also automated and will create new potatoes each hour.

ROADMAP
We have a long way to go, but we will keep it transparent and with a solid growth as our potatoes start to rule the metaverse. This is not only a collectible NFT art project, but a project which will expand to games, staking and certainly will bring wealthy and fun to its supporters.
Here you can have a taste of what we have planned already, but we purposefully won't go further and the reason is simple: we want YOU to decide. Community power and engagement will guide this project and everything will be proposed and voted on our social medias.
STEP 1.
30 Sold - Discord
As the potatoes start to find their new homes, we will need a place to socialize, share hot news and be closer, so a Discord channel will be the perfect shot.
New potatoes will be announced there first, as well as flash sales and discussions about the future of the project. It will be our main communication channel, as Twitter will be used mostly for announcements and automated messages.
STEP 2.
250 Sold - DApp Website
This website is only temporary to present you guys our project, but a true DApp website will be needed. In this website you will be able to do everything you already can with this one, but in addition of being able to connect your wallet and start interacting with your potatoes.
This will be huge and will open a vast sea of possibilities!
STEP 3.
500 Sold - Editor's Game
The first game in our ecosystem, which will basically allow you to create any potato you want. We will have even more variations than the original collection and you will be able to submit your idea to be voted on our social media.
The winners will be chosen periodically and the custom potatoes will be minted with all the characteristics gave by the author, as well as the deserved credits. A new special and selective collection will be created to host the winners of the game.
STEP 4.
1000 Sold - Ranking Game
Now a lot of people have potatoes, right? So let's use them to earn more potatoes! A new game will be created so you can submit the potato you already own in a public competition.
The submitted potatoes will be voted in our social media and the winner will receive a random unsold potato for free. The more you spread the world about the potatoes and engage your followers, more chances you have to add a new potato to your collection!

Behind this project there is a couple in love with technology - and potatoes.
Together we created a totally innovative way to release art. We found a purpose, combining our professions and talents, to bring these automated NFTs to the world. Mr. Potato is specialized in systems and software, he programmed the entire automation of the project taking care of every detail, from the generation of images to the sale of our potatoes. While Ms. Potato, a digital designer, illustrated every element of the 10,000 arts, turning iconic characters into special features for the Hot Potatoes.
